City of Lockport issued the following announcement on April 12.
The City of Lockport and consultant engineers Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) are holding a Public Information Meeting for the E. 9th Street (IL-7) Lincoln Street to Summit Drive - Phase I Engineering Study on Thursday, April 25 from 4-6 PM.
The meeting will be conducted in an open house format. Interested persons may visit anytime between 4 PM and 6 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to review exhibits, provide comments, and meet with City staff and engineering consultant representatives.
The proposed improvements include pavement rehabilitation, adding a center turn lane, new curb and gutter, drainage improvements, and sidewalk/bike path improvements. More details about the project are available in the Fact Sheet, available for download below.
