Aurora (Kendall County) home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Aurora in Kendall County rose by $51,750 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $277,500 - a 22.9% increase over the $225,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Aurora in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Aurora for 2017 was $8,184. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,891. This marks an increase of 3.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
