Aurora (Kendall County) home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Aurora in Kendall County rose by $34,500 while total sales decreased by 16%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $207,000 - a 20% increase over the $172,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Aurora in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $8,183.70, approximately 4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
