Monee home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Monee rose by $8,500 while total sales decreased by 69.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $173,500 - a 5.2% increase over the $165,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Monee in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Monee for 2017 was $6,206.34. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,849.30. This marks an increase of 6.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.6%.
