Aurora (Will County) home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Aurora in Will County rose by $33,000 while total sales decreased by 61.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $243,000 - a 15.7% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Aurora in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Aurora for 2017 was $7,296.62. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,352. This marks an decrease of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3%.
