Monee home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Monee fell by $7,450 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,500 - a 4% decrease over the $184,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Monee in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Monee for 2017 was $6,206.34. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,849.30. This marks an increase of 6.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
