Monee home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Monee fell by $71,853 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,647 - a 44.2% decrease over the $162,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Monee in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Monee for 2017 was $6,206.34. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,849.30. This marks an increase of 6.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 6.8%.
