Aurora (Will County) home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Aurora in Will County fell by $32,050 while total sales increased by 166.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $159,950 - a 16.7% decrease over the $192,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Aurora in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Aurora for 2017 was $7,296.62. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,352. This marks an decrease of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.6%.
