Report: Joliet spent $14,929 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Joliet Township High School District 204 is down 2.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Will County school district spent $15,370 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,929 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 6204 to 6719.

Joliet's spending in 2017-18 was 11.9 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
