Report: Chaney Monge spent $10,889 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Chaney Monge School District 88 is up 7.8 percent from five years ago, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Will County school district spent $10,097 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,889 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 450 to 444.

Chaney Monge's spending in 2017-18 was 18.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
