City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
We would like to remind residents that garbage and recycling will be one day late next week starting Tuesday (Dec. 25) due to the Christmas holiday. Customers with regularly scheduled Monday pick-up will not be impacted by this change.
Please note that yard waste pick-up has been suspended until spring 2019.
