V. Comments By Chief Operating Officer And Chief Financial Officer

Chief Operating Officer Schultz presented the Fall 2018 Forest Preserve Calendar of Events and welcomed back the "Woods Walk" program.

Commissioner Rice inquired if there was any kind of tracking of the Woods Walk program? Schultz responded the program is tracked by how many of the booklets are handed out and how many are turned back in after the program is completed.

Commissioner Summers also noted a personal story and appreciation for the staff and programs at the Plum Creek Nature Center.

1. Recommendation to Hire a Natural Resource Management Crew Leader & Volunteer Liaison

President Hart made a recommendation to hire, Barbara Sherwood as a Natural Resource Management Crew Leader & Volunteer Liaison. This is a replacement hire and this position is critical for the Planning and Development operations.
