Plainfield North's Ekowa has one touchdown pass in Minnesota St. Mavericks football win

Plainfield North graduate JD Ekowa had 97 passing yards, one touchdown pass, four pass attempts, four completions, four rushing yards and one rush attempt in Minnesota St. Mavericks football's 38-23 win Sept. 16 over the Minn. Duluth Bulldogs.

Ekowa is a 6-1, 205 pound freshman quarterback from Plainfield.
