Chief Operating Officer Schultz presented the Forest Preserve Summer handouts to the Board of Commissioners:
• 2018 Summer Calendar of Events starting July 1st thru September.
• Summer Fun - Food Truck Friday’s and Rock the Woods Summer Concerts
• Quilt Exhibition starting June 17th thru July 3rd at (4) Four Forest Preserve Centers
President Hart acknowledged the ribbon cutting at Whalon Lake Forest Preserve on Friday, June 5, 2018. Schultz explained that the Forest Preserve Districts of DuPage and Will opened a 1.25 mile trail connecting Greene Valley Forest Preserve in Naperville to Whalon Lake Forest Preserve in Bolingbrook. This trail extension has been planned for 25 years.
