Frankfort Fire Department responded to 773 calls in 2017 - 8.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Frankfort included 118 fires - 82 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 28 other fires.

In all, the department saw $748,705 in fire loss - or about $6,345 per fire.

The department also received 655 false calls, including eight malicious calls and 647 other false calls.

Four fire service member were injured in non fire-related incidents.

The Frankfort Fire Department had an annual budget of $12,379,673 in 2017.
