The meeting of the Police and ESDA Committee was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Alderman Studer.
Previous Meeting Minutes – November 14, 2017
The minutes were reviewed. Alderman Tutor made a motion and Alderman Evans seconded to accept the November 14, 2017 Committee meeting minutes as written and have them placed on file.
Upon voice vote, THE MOTION CARRIED, 5 yes
Surplus Radio Equipment Disposition
Chief Arnold explained to the Committee that the radios from the old system are no longer of use to the Police Department and would like to donate them to the School District since they use the same kind and can be utilized. Alderman Studer made a motion and Alderman Tutor seconded to allow the Chief to turn the radios over to the School District. All yes, motion passed.
Follow Up on Surplus Vehicle Auction
Chief Arnold informed the Committee that from the auction the Sierra Pick Truck brought in $1,850.00 and $53.00 for the 2003 Explorer.
Review FY2018 Budget Worksheets
The Committee reviewed the worksheets as prepared by the City Accountant. Chief Arnold stated that the new police officer will be sworn in at the January 3, 2018 City Council meeting.

Adjournment
With no further business before the Committee, Alderman Tutor made a motion and it was seconded by Alderman Persic to adjourn. Upon voice vote, THE MOTION CARRIED unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 5:48 p.m.
