Republican attorney general candidate Erika Harold will join the Will County Republicans for their 2017 Lincoln-Reagan Fall Reception on Nov. 1, according to a press release.
Harold was Miss America in 2003, speaking on a platform of bullying prevention and sexual abstinence, and is now a lawyer in Champaign. She is running to replace Democrat Lisa Madigan, who has decided not to run for re-election.
The reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Juliet’s, 205 North Chicago in Joliet. The cost is $100 a person or $150 per couple. RSVPs may be made on the Will County GOP website or by e-mailing wcrccchairman@gmail.com. Sponsorships are also available.
