The Will County Republicans Central Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, at Gattos Restaurant in New Lenox, according to the party’s website.
The evening will begin with a half-hour session allowing committeemen, guests and volunteers to get to know state and county elected officials and candidates.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an acknowledgement of those attending for the first time, followed by an opportunity for state and county officials and candidates to briefly address attendees. They will be limited to 45 seconds each for their announcements and messages.
The Central Committee will then provide updates on the party’s legislative agenda and the Will County Board, before highlighting recent and upcoming events. The September meeting will include highlights from the recent county fair and information about the upcoming 2018 election, including fundraising events for Republican candidates and the party’s needs and opportunities.
The meeting will also see the review and approval of the treasurer’s report and minutes from the August monthly meeting.
