Unpaid fines for Steger-based campaign committee totaled $200 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Steger has overdue fines amounting to a total of $200, records obtained by the Will County Gazette show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Crete Township Democrats was the only campaign committee in Steger that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The total that Crete Township Democrats still owes comes from two fines of $100, for a late A-1 report and a late quarterly report.
