Unpaid fines for Beecher-based campaign committee totaled $1,650 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Beecher has overdue fines amounting to a total of $1,650, records obtained by the Will County Gazette show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Friends of Steve Crowley was the only campaign committee in Beecher that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Friends of Steve Crowley has yet to pay was imposed on April 25, 2014, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $700.
