(ReShawn Howard)
Ms. ReShawn Howard reviewed the 2016 final levy numbers in the packet.
11. Discussion Re: Highway Roofing Projects
(Mike Miglorini)
Mrs. Johannsen stated to expedite this, it was brought to Finance at the Speaker's
request. We wanted to identify Capital Funds 304 to do the projects. Mr. Miglorini
had his consultant go out and he did not feel a complete tear off was necessary
for the pole barns, perhaps the administrative side. The amount will be
considerably lower.
Mr. Miglorini stated the roofing consultant is coming to the Capital meeting. The
estimated cost for the restoration of the roofs was between $300,000 and
$400,000 versus a complete tear off and replacement at double that price.
A brief discussion took place regarding using Capital Fund 304 to pay for the
restoration.
Mr. Miglorini added we are using the coop which means we will not have to go
out to bid.
VI. OTHER NEW BUSINESS
Ms. Hennessy distributed the correspondence from Baker Tilly (attached). This requires
no action. It is an explanation of the audit details and their roles and responsibilities.
Contact information is included on the last page. They have two required
communications; the pre-audit and when the audit is completed. Our preference has
been for them to come and give a report when the audit is done.
