II. PRESENTATION: Joliet Media Campaign Update – Heritage Corridor Convention
and Visitors Bureau
Bob Navarro, President and CEO of Heritage Corridor Visitors and Convention Bureau, gave a brief overview of the Summer Media Campaign. He discussed various methods of advertising for Joliet.
Debbie Jo Erickson spoke regarding the Route 66 Miles of Possibility Convention which will be held in the City of Joliet in 2017.

Foreign Fire Insurance Board
The City Clerk advised that this is a Public Hearing so any public comments would be in order at this time.

XIII. PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Tim Shanahan, 13660 W. Bruns Road - Manhattan, spoke regarding the Rialto.
John Sheridan spoke regarding vacant and abandoned property registration.
Councilwoman Hernandez Brewer spoke in response to Mr. Sheridan's comments.
Robert Hernandez thanked the City staff for the recent snow removal and the Police Department for their fine work. He spoke in favor of the proposed expanded duties of the Inspector General.
