North Central College (NCC) Men's Volleyball Head Coach Kyle Exline has taken over the women's program, according to an announcement on the school's website.
Exline has been the men's coach at NCC since April 2014. The team had its inaugural season in 2016, posting an 8-16 record.
He previously coached multiple programs while at Argo Community High School in Summit, Illinois, and while a graduate assistant at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, from 2011-13.
During that stretch, the women's program made it to the national semifinals in 2011 and the men's team reached the NCAA Division III championship game in 2012, which was the first men's title game at that level.
He also was master coach, head coach for the 18-and-under team, master coach and assistant club director for the D1 Southside Volleyball Club in Palos Heights.
The NCC women's team went 14-16 last season.
