Youth gymnastics classes will start at the end of October in the Bolingbrook Park District.
Beginning Tumbling for ages 6 to younger than 13 starts at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Dr. This class is for children new to tumbling. Skills that will be focused on include lunge to handstand, forward and backward tuck, and cartwheels and roundoffs. Classes are each Tuesday through Dec. 13. Cost is $50 for residents and $75 for nonresidents.
Boys Gymnastics has two classes starting: at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, and 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Annerino Community Center. Fundamentals to be taught include pommel horse, parallel bars, rings, vault and floor. The class is or ages 6 to younger than 13. The first class runs through Dec. 12, and the second class runs through Dec. 14.
The costs for the first class are $65 and $98, while the costs are $57 and $86 for the second.
