On Sunday, March 1, Matt Maloney and Michael Maloney—both graduates of Lincoln-Way Central High School—contributed to a 10-5 victory as the Western Michigan Broncos defeated the Cal State Northridge Matadors in NCAA Division I baseball play.

The matchup was held at Robert J. Hiegert Field and marked the third time the Broncos faced the Matadors this season.

The Broncos are set to play again on Friday, March 13 at 2 p.m., facing the Ohio Bobcats at Bob Wren Stadium.
