On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Western Michigan Broncos baseball team, featuring former Lincoln-Way Central High School players Matt Maloney and Michael Maloney, were defeated 11-4 by the Cal State Northridge Matadors in their NCAA Division I game.

The game was played at Robert J. Hiegert Field. This marked their second meeting with the Matadors this season.

The Broncos are set to play next on Sunday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field in another game against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
