The Western Illinois Leathernecks, including former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Harrison Dubois, suffered a narrow 9-8 defeat to the VMI Keydets in their NCAA Division I baseball game Sunday, March 8.

The teams faced off at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium, marking their fourth meeting this season.

Western Illinois’ next contest is slated for Tuesday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at Illinois Field against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
