Western Illinois drops 12-5 matchup to Louisiana-Monroe in NCAA baseball

Western Illinois Leathernecks, featuring former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Harrison Dubois, fell 12-5 to the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in their NCAA Division I baseball contest on Friday, Feb. 27.

Lou St. Amant Field hosted the game, which marked the Leathernecks’ first meeting with the Warhawks this season.

Western Illinois will face Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks again at Lou St. Amant Field, with the next matchup set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.
