On Friday, March 13, the Northern Michigan Wildcats, featuring former Peotone High School standout Madison Schroeder, were defeated by the Wayne State Warriors 77-61 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, which was the Wildcats’ first tournament meeting with the Wayne State Warriors, tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at the GVSU Fieldhouse.
