CITIZENS SPEAK:

Visitors are always welcome to all public meetings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Crete. Interested parties wishing to speak should identify their intent to speak, they then may give their name and where they reside if they so choose and then make their comment. Persons may also provide their address privately to the Village Clerk if they so choose; persons are advised that addresses are considered private information under the Freedom of Information Act and thus are exempt from disclosure pursuant to any Freedom of Information Act request. However, in order to give proper consideration to all items on the agenda, the President has the authority to limit participants in debates and will close repetitive or abusive remarks. In addition, public comment rules are posted in the board room.

· Notice from Will County Board of Review of request by St James Property for a reduction in 2025 assessment on two parcels on 1251 E Richton Rd. .

· Notice from Will County Land Use for public hearing April 21, 2025 at 5:30 in County Building, 302 N Chicago St, Joliet, regarding Ethel Solar project on Volbrecht Rd just south of Richton Rd. Special Use Permit for solar, variances for mowings and ground cover height.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and consideration of moving forward with an agreement for GoGov services to enhance resident engagement, service requests, and communication within the Village.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Resolution 2026-_______: A Resolution Authorizing a Facility Use Agreement Between the Village of Crete Emergency Management Agency and Crete Township.

2. Resolution 2026- _______: A Resolution Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement Between the Village of Crete and the County of Will Regarding License Plate Reading Cameras on County Highways in the County of Will.

3. Application from Gas N Wash for a 90 day Temporary Sign.

4. Discussion of possibly amending Chapter 24 Taxation, Article II Vehicle License Tax, Section 24-23 License Required.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

1. The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired and for the purpose of setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body 5 ILCS 120/2 2.(c)(5)(6)
