Sgt. Konvalinka participated in the IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference, which is recognized as the largest state park and recreation conference in the United States, drawing over 4,660 professionals. He gave a presentation on strategies for smaller districts to work together with other local taxing entities to organize large community events.

“We’re grateful to Sgt. Konvalinka for taking the time to support this effort and for representing the Village and Police Department so well,” organizers stated.

The event highlighted ways that collaboration among various agencies can benefit communities by enabling more significant public gatherings and programs.
