A brief discussion was held regarding the use of the cannabis taxes.
Councilwoman Quillman and Jim Torri, Director of Community Development briefly discussed the previously approved tire business located at Broadway and Hutchins.

Kathy Spieler wished Mayor O'Dekirk a happy birthday and thanked everyone for their vote on Council Memo #539-21. She also expressed her concerns with the reinvestment of cannabis tax funds.
Mary Beth Gannon concurred with Kathy Spieler and expressed her concerns with the disbursement of cannabis tax monies.
MAYOR AND COUNCIL COMMENTS:
Councilman Clement wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Councilwoman Gavin wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Councilman Guerrero wished the officer well that was wounded earlier today.
Councilman Hug expressed his condolences to Joe Nordman and family for the passing of his daughter Josie.
Councilman Morris wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Councilman Mudron congratulated St. Joe's hospital on their new robotic lung machine, which is one of only two machines in the state of Illinois.
Councilwoman Quillman wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Mayor O'Dekirk highlighted a meet and greet for Priscilla Cordero the new Executive Director for City Center Partnership, numerous Veteran's Day celebrations, a ribbon cutting at Hammel Woods for the Black Road bridge over I-55, Joliet Catholic Academy 4th in State women's volleyball team. He also wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and briefly discussed the incident that took place at the Wendy's on Center Street.
