Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60449?

There were two offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live near Illinois zip code 60449, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Will County Gazette.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Monee zip code were men. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the other was a 40-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Dennis Roach. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, when he was 40 years old. He is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
