The City of Joliet Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
It's time to finally get rid of those old electronics, batteries, paint products and chemicals in the basement! Don’t forget Joliet residents who pay for municipal waste on their water and sewer bills can call and have electronics and household hazardous wastes picked up from their homes free of charge. To schedule a pickup, either call 1-800-449-7587, email atyourdoor@wm.com or go to the website www.wmatyourdoor.com.
