City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Reminder - In order to be off the street in time for the festivities, Waste Management will begin their garbage, recycling and yard waste pick-up at 6 a.m. instead of the regularly scheduled 7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. Residents are encouraged to have their receptacles out to the curb by 6 a.m. on this day and are welcome to put their receptacles out as early as 6 p.m. the night before.
Any residents who experience a missed pick-up on this day should call Waste Management at (815) 280-7854. Please note that this early pick-up is for Thursday, Oct. 31 only. No other days other than Thursday, Oct. 31 are affected.
