City of Joliet issued the following announcement on July 1.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup will be one day late starting Thursday during the week of July 1, 2019 due to the Independence Day holiday. Residents with Monday through Wednesday pickup will not be impacted by this change. Normal collection schedule will resume the week of July 8, 2019.
