Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 22.
TC Energy will be conducting a routine in-line inspection project, a “pig” run, on June 10th, 11th, and 12th. Part of this project involves depressurizing their line by blowing down the compressor and meter facilities. These blow downs can be very loud and last anywhere from 10-30 minutes at a time. They expect to conduct a single blowdown on 6/10, three to four on 6/11 and one to two on 6/12. They will all take place between the hours of 10am and 3pm as to not disrupt non-working hours.
Their land department will be making the appropriate notifications to all surrounding landowners near Amoco Road.
