Manhattan home prices fall in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Manhattan fell by $20,211 while total sales decreased by 30.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $273,400 - a 6.9% decrease over the $293,611 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Manhattan in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Manhattan for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,264.40, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for October 2018.
