Fairmont home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Fairmont rose by $151,450 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,450 - a 409.3% increase over the $37,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Fairmont in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Fairmont for 2017 was $1,044.84. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,055. This marks an decrease of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.6%.
