Stanley Robert Zeb, known as “Stan,” passed away on May 15, 2025, at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL, just four days after his 85th birthday. Born on May 11, 1940, in Chicago, Stan was a hardworking union carpet layer known for his dedication to his craft and love of the outdoors. He is survived by his sons Lance Aaron Zeb and Scott Adam Zeb, granddaughters Hope Annabella Zeb and Lauren Ashley-Grace Zeb, sister Debbie, and sister-in-law LeeAnn (Dennis) Zeb. Memorial Visitation and Service to be held on June 6, 2025, at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home in Braidwood, IL, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the VFW in Wilmington, IL.
