Robert John Conley, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2025. A proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, Robert was a devoted artist, history enthusiast, and a jovial jokester cherished by family and friends. Known for his kindness and willingness to help others, he shared his love for his Irish roots. Robert is survived by his loving wife June Conley, children Gina Switalski and Michael Loera, grandchildren Vincent Filice and Kristina Switalski, siblings Thomas Conley and Margaret Thomas, sister-in-law Elaine Conley, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Brian Eoin Conley, parents Edward and Margaret Conley, and siblings Gloria, George, John, and Dennis Conley. Visitation and funeral service will be held on October 22, 2025, at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, followed by interment at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Elmhurst, IL.
