Robert Jerrold Brendel, 88, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, in a life filled with faith, family, and music. Born on February 3, 1937, Robert led a remarkable life as a loving husband to Ruth, a caring father to Lora, Marcia, Robert Jr., Janet, and Gail, and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a dedicated businessman, founding Brendel’s Pianos in 1960, and a talented musician who shared his passion with his family and community. Robert was also a teacher, woodworker, and devoted member of his church, leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and wisdom. His visitation will be on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Anderson Memorial Home, with the funeral on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Christ Church. Memorial gifts can be made to Love Packages or Pacific Garden Mission in his honor. Robert is survived by his loving family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
