Richard J. Scofield, 50, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2025. He is survived by his wife Karen, children Hunter and Emmi Scofield, stepchildren Adam and Mitch Randles, parents Eileen Scofield and Dave Scofield, siblings Jon, Megan, and Dave Scofield, stepsiblings Dawn Stanley and Craig Lear, as well as nieces, nephews, and beloved dogs Zoey and Phoebe. Richard, born on May 5, 1975, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, was known for his love of the outdoors, generosity, and diverse interests. He will be cremated according to his wishes, with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home.
