PLAINFIELD, Ill. — Raymond J. Krizek, known as Ray, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 23, 2025, surrounded by family. Ray was a social and kind-hearted person who always aimed to bring smiles to people’s faces. He is survived by his children, Raymond (Maria) Krizek Jr. and Jennifer Herman, grandchildren Marissa Vaca, Tyler Herman, and Eric Herman, and siblings Joan (Brian) James and Jim (Tricia) Krizek, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Krizek, parents John and Dorothy Krizek, and sister Mary Alice Lucas. Visitation will take place on December 1, 2025, at Anderson Memorial Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Ray will be remembered for his kindness and love for his family.
