On Tuesday, April 29, former Plainfield East High School standout Ally Rodriguez’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Michigan Broncos.
The game took place at Mary M. Bell Field. This was their second matchup against the Broncos this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 1:35 p.m. at Scott Park Baseball Softball against Toledo Rockets.
