Patrick Sheehan, a Republican elected to the Illinois State House in 2024 representing the 37th District, has used his social media platform to address a range of topics from sports celebrations to legislative criticism and local sports developments.

On February 22, 2026, Sheehan expressed enthusiasm for Team USA Hockey by posting: “Do you believe in miracles?!?! Yes! @usahockey https://t.co/SrMEKATGZl”

Just three days later, on February 25, 2026, Sheehan voiced concerns about proposed state legislation with the following message: “Law and order is under attack in Illinois!
