Lawrence W. ‘Bear Jr.’ Ferrari, 83, of Campus, Illinois, formerly of Coal City, South Wilmington/East Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Arcadia Care of Morris. Lawrence, known for his hardworking nature, was a carpenter by profession and had various interests, including stock car racing. He left behind his wife, Joyce, daughter Lorie, grandchildren Taylor and Nathan, as well as other loving family members.

A private visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial were held in Coal City, where Lawrence was laid to rest in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers included close family and friends. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Reeves, Fruland & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory.
