On Friday, March 6, Kaleb Wilkey, a former standout at Lincoln-Way West High School, played with his college team, the Evansville Purple Aces, as they were defeated 7-2 by the Ole Miss Rebels in an NCAA Division I baseball game.
Swayze Field hosted the contest. It marked the teams’ first meeting this season.
The Purple Aces are scheduled to face the Ole Miss Rebels again at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Swayze Field.
