Jack Linko’s Concordia Chicago team falls to Hardin-Simmons in D-III baseball

At 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, featuring former Lincoln-Way West High School standout Jack Linko, were defeated 14-9 by the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys in their NCAA Division III baseball contest.

Hunter Field was the venue for the game, marking the third meeting this season between the teams. In the preceding matchup on Friday, March 13, the Cougars secured a 13-9 win over the Cowboys.

Linko allowed six earned runs in two innings, adding two walks and three strikeouts to his record.

Concordia Chicago’s next contest is set for Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m. against the Wheaton Thunder at Lee Pfund Stadium.
