On Sunday, March 1, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, with Jack Novak and Michael Gurgone—both former Lincoln-Way Central High School standouts—fell 6-4 to the Rhodes Lynx in an NCAA Division III baseball contest.
The showdown was held at Stauffer Field and marked the second meeting this season between the teams.
The Titans are set to return to action against the Washington Bears at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Kelly Field at Irv Utz Stadium.
